This is a selection of images from my portfolio.

Personal Illustration

This is an illustration which bares no meaning, so really it could be seen as modern Dadaism? I created this using markers. I didn't plan this image, I just simply added each illustration one at a time, testing my brain to come up with something completely random.

Devil

This is an illustration of Wayne Rooney created to represent adultery. The devil horns link back to his football club, Manchester United but also have a second meaning of lust. The black underwear hanging of his horn represents those who belong to his prostitute.

Filth

This is an illustration which represents the foul language that is so easily picked up today within the youth. I feel that the censor on this image is very subtle however it does portray a key meaning to this image.

Sulphuric

This piece is based on the model who had acid thrown at her by her jealous boyfriend's friend. I felt this would provide interesting imagery; her face crumbling reflects how her life is now also crumbling. I drew this with markers & applied the radial gradient on Photoshop.

Life Drawing

This is an A2 drawing which I produced during my latest life drawing class. I really enjoy life drawing as it allows me to gain a better understanding of proportions and tone.

CD design- MGMT Illustration

This was an illustration for a CD cover for the band MGMT. As compilations of illustrations are my specialty, I decided I would pick out the imagery from the lyrics Time To Pretend. Once I had created the characters I researched into different illustrators to find a way I could display my illustration. I felt this was best suited for a circular CD cover. This was drawn using black fine liners & coloured using letraset triamarkers.

Fashion Poster Collage- Development

This was a brief given to the class by the fashion students of our college. We were given a mood board which had a similar style to art nouveau. I felt that if I illustrated the design it wouldn't match very well with the theme so, by using my own photography I created a art nouveau design which included elements of fashion.

Poster for Prejudice Campaign- Obesity

For this brief we were asked to create a poster, an ad-shell and a few badges to support the fight against prejudice. I felt if I chose something I myself am prejudice against, then the imagery that were to be produced, would be much stronger.
I created this imagery using photography.

Portrait created on Adobe Illustrator

This is a portrait which was created for an advertisement. By using a high quality photograph of myself, I created an illustration on top. Once I had drawn all the flesh tones, I applied a gaussian blur effect to add a realistic effect to my work .

Desire- Displaying emotion through mark-making and colour.

This piece  was originally part of a trio of tiles however I felt that piece was the strongest out of all of them. I sketched a photo of my friend then scanned this in to photoshop. The red was applied in photoshop by setting a block, red layer to a lower opacity. The spirals were then created using a tablet.
